Meetings cadence: once every 4-6 weeks, try to find a consistent time (last Thursday of the month?)
Communication: Whatsapp for day-to-day coordination and planning, emails go out for big events.

PE Field Day, Friday 8/28 5-6:30 at Davidson Middle School. Activities & games led by our kid's PE coaches from the National Academy of Athletics, raffle, giveaways and free Kona Ice shaved ice
Dad's Group Campus Work Day, Sunday 9/30 9-11am at Coleman. Hanging sun sails for the Kinder and TK yards plus other "fun" projects. Volunteers needed
Back To School Night, Wednesday 9/2 5:30-7 at Coleman. Geared towards parents, find childcare if you can. Open House in May is the opportunity for you kids to attend and show you what they've done at school.
Ice Cream Social, Wednesday 9/9 5-7pm at Coleman. Wear your orange dad's group shirt if you have one, earn one by volunteering to serve ice cream or hot dogs if you don't. Volunteers needed to serve ice cream and hot dogs. Signup will come through ParentSquare
First monthly PTO meeting, Thursday 9/10 5:30-6:30. Attend via zoom
Dine and Donate, Wednesday 9/16 3-9pm at Pond Farm Brewing Company
Hispanic Heritage Potluck and Celebration, Friday 9/25 5-7 at Coleman. Volunteers needed for setup and cleanup Signup will come through ParentSquare
Corn Hole Tournament, October, date TBD at The Marin Bocce Federation. Adults only, food and drink included. Link to buy tickets coming out soon

Coleman NFL Survivor Pool organized by Coleman Alum Ben Boyd. The buy-in is $20 per entry, with half of the proceeds going to Coleman and the other half up for grabs to the winner, in addition to obvious year-long bragging rights.
Think of big ticket auction items you might have a connection to such as vacation rentals, sporting events, concert or show tickets, professional services, access to cool or unusual places, talents or hobbies you can teach or share, and bring them to the PTO's attention as early as possible so they can figure out the right events to present them at
Sign up for Sports Basement's Basementeer program with Coleman designated as your school for a portion of your spending to be donated back to the school
**Corporate Matching** if you or your spouse's company has a matching donation program, please take full advantage of it when donating to the PTO
